Practice Area: Motor Vehicle Accident Injury Lawyers
Our client was a 32 year old storeman, who was the passenger of a vehicle which was stationary at a set of traffic lights. The Driver of another vehicle apparently feel sleep at the wheel and has colided with the rear of our clients vehicle.
As a result of the car accident our client has sustained injuries to his neck, shoulder and lower back.
Our client underwent moderate treatment most of which was paid for by Medicare.
At the time of the accident our client was employed as a storeman he was employed in a casual position and paid by the hour.
As a result of the accident our client had to use 2 weeks of his holiday leave, being a casual worker he was not paid for this period. Following this period of leave the Claimant returned on light duties for a period of 6 months.
After which point he returned to his usual role. Our client struggled to complete the role, he avoided lifting heavy boxes and regularly required assistance from other work mates to complete the bigger orders. Our client found that after he finished work he could not do anything but lie on the couch and deal with the pain.
The Claimant lived at home with his partner who was primarily responsible for the house work.
All this mean that this was a smaller claim. David quickly contacted the insurer and organised a conference to settle the matter.
Ultimately our client received $60,000.00 to compensate him for his treatment expense, pain and suffering resulting from his injuries and any time of work which he wold have received.
If you or your family member have been injured, and are expecting a quick resolution to our claim, Gerard Malouf and Partners are able to ensure you are not disadvantaged and that you receive maximum compensation.
